TOSI®-FlexiCheck
Validation and routine monitoring of the cleaning performance of WD-E‘s according to EN ISO 15883
TOSI®-FlexiCheck checks the performance of the machine and the cleaning chemicals. For reprocessing Flexible Endoscopes washers with channel irrigation systems are recommended. FlexiCheck is connected to this system and will simulate a single channel at one time.
Function
- Luer lock connector for easy attachment
- The device simulates a flexible endoscope channel
- Two separate test soils for demonstrating the removal of blood and polysaccharides
- Immediate result through visual control
Evaluation
Flexible endoscopes are often contaminated with mucus however blood is also a possible contaminant. TOSI-FlexiCheck combines 2 different test soils on one test strip: One is the standardised blood test soil and the second is a polysaccharide mixture.
Contaminated instruments are a hygiene risk and need to be rejected. Instruments need to be free of any residue!
