Double wrap SMS/SMS
The innovative wrapping material – DIN EN ISO 11607
The innovative stericlin® double wrap meets the requirements of DIN EN ISO 11607 and DIN EN 868-2 and combines two different wrapping materials made of polypropylene. A blue sheet and a green sheet of non-woven polypropylene, made of synthetic fibres, are firmly welded together at two sides. Damage to the packaging can be identified more easily by the different colours of the inner and outer sheet.
Stericlin® wrapping material made of non-woven polypropylene (SMS) are extremely tear-resistant, robust and drapable non-woven, made of pure synthetic fibres, which are suitable for all types of wrapping material. The sterile barrier system double wrap SMS/SMS from stericlin® is usable for steam and low-temperature sterilisation. According to information from the manufacturers Johnson & Johnson Advanced Sterilization Products ASP (STERRAD® systems), Steelco S.P.A. by Miele Group (PL plasma sterilisers) and GETINGE, this quality is approved and validated for the respective VH2O2 (plasma) hydrogen plasma sterilisers.
