The stericlin® wrapping material interleaved SMS 6 PLUS comes with a green sheet and a purple sheet alternating in a stack.

Thereby assembling the sheets from two different boxes is not necessary. The preparation of the packing procedure for the double-packaging is singificant simplified. Damage to the packaging can be identified more easily through the different colours of the inner and outer packaging.

We recommend that you create a double-packaging by two successive packaging operations. Only that way you will get efficient double packaging, which enables a bacterial count reduction during unpacking, ensuring an aseptic presentation.

With SMS 6 PLUS, you benefit from an innovative solution that combines a fully recyclable polypropylene plastic nonwoven (SMS) with maximum drying properties in STEAM sterilization. Yet SMS 6 PLUS is also suitable for sterilization with EO/FO gas or in H2O2 (hydrogen plasma) sterilizers, such as the STERRAD® system or the Steelco PL series.
